Aa Megami-sama! is one of the most popular anime series to date. Partly because of it's story line, and the way the 5 tape series is tied together. Not to mention the characters in the anime are well drawn. The author, Kysuke Fujishima often jokes about one of the characters hair. "Belldandy's hair takes too damn long to draw!".
Aa Megami-sama! or Oh my Goddess! as it is read here in the US, is a (in my own honest opinion) is one of the best anime series I have seen. Even though many people will argue that Akira is one of the best anime films around. Akira sort of lost me, and still does today. So that's why I will personally recommend Oh my Goddess to everyone.
The story takes place around a college campus. Nekomi Technical Institute. There a freshman named Keiichi Morisato is wasting a perfectly good afternoon taking messages for his sempai (senior student) Tamia. As time passes Keiichi begins to get hungry. He reaches for the phone and starts to dial for takeout. And woah boy! Does he order takeout! He ends up with the Goddess Belldandy by his side forever!
