Printed Circuit Inner Layer
The core has a photo tool in place. In this example you see only a very small part of the photo tool. Note that there is a half circle showing. This circle is half of a pad that will become an inner layer connection. The photo tool is a photographic negative or positive of the circuit that is being produced. Where ever there is black image on the photo tool, the copper will not be removed.
