I. Pine Hill's Mission

The Pine Hill Waldorf School is committed to the art of education based on the philosophy and curriculum of Rudolf Steiner. To this end we have joined with High Mowing School to provide the full thirteen years of Waldorf Education for those familieswho wish to take advantage of them.

Our mission has four objectives:

  1. to serve the educational and developmental needs of our students;
  2. to work with parents towards a common understanding of child development, the Waldorf curriculum, and the tasks of parenting and teaching, in order to create a harmonious, supportive relationship between classroom and family life;
  3. to contribute to the cultural and educational vitality of the local community by sponsoring or supporting workshops, lectures, concerts, and conferences at the school; and
  4. to support the growth of Waldorf education by supporting the training of Waldorf teachers and by our on-going participation in the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA).

Pine Hill Waldorf School is approved for attendance purposes by the New Hampshire State Department of Education. The Kindergarten is approved by the New Hampshire Department of Health and Welfare.

Pine Hill Waldorf School does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, national or ethnic origin, or religion in its admissions, educational policies, or administration.
