Simply and plainly put, this is the best animated film which was
ever produced. (This is, of course, just my own opinion, but I think you
can at least agree with me a little.)WHAT??? You've never seen it
before?! Well, I guess that's okay, but make sure you rent it and watch
it sometime. It's still a great film even for adults. What was best about
it was the fact that its animation quality was flawless. Don
Bluth did his usual fantasic job in the animation department, and came
out with a great end product. I think what made this the best movie he
did was the fact that he didn't write it. (Sorry Bluth fans, but the plot
lines and dialogue in stuff like "All Dogs Go to Heaven" just
didn't cut it. :( The combined work of the author, Robert C. O'Brien
and Bluth's animation fit together perfectly. I would have liked it better
if had stayed closer to the book (no mystical "stone" was ever
brought up in the novel), but if they had, my favorite character might
have died.
Justin
was the coolest guy ever, and I looked to him as a best friend when I was
real little.
This movie did pull together quite a following, and many
people have their own spaces on the web devoted to ratty fandom:
