Each week, the period from 1:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. Saturday or Sunday morning is reserved for scheduled maintenance. Ordinarily, all services will be available during this period, except for brief periods when server(s) are re-booting -- generally about one minute.
However, there may be periods of several hours where no new email is being accepted, and/or no updates to JLC-hosted web pages will be allowed. Please feel free to call for more details if this will present a problem.
On very rare occasions, it may be necessary to interrupt ongoing modem sessions. If this happens and you can't re-establish the modem connection in a minute or two, please call -- we need to know about it. Except for these rare occasions, web-browsing and sending email should see no interruptions -- merely brief delays.
JLC staff has been instructed to update the following list before starting any maintenance activities which may cause any glitches visible to users. (Most recent items will be listed first.)
